The Sutter Brothers
Ross and Barton Sutter have performed together ever since they were growing up as a couple of preacher's kids. Ross is the musician, Bart is the poet. They've both built reputations on their own (Bart was was named the first Poet Laureate of Duluth), but when they perform as a pair, their work has the kind of counterpoint and easy intimacy unique to sibling acts.
Ross Sutter is joined by Cheryl Paschke on nyckelharpa and fiddle and Mary Hart on keyboards for traditional Scandinavian holiday music, songs, and dances.
The Kodiak Quartet
Lively Scandinavian music and dance takes the stage when Ross is joined by Char and Bruce Bostrum, and Art Bjorngjeld on accordion.
